About Kate Moon and So Slight Design

So Slight Design is the freelance site of Kate Moon. Kate specializes in logo and layout design, copy editing, graphic design, and branding. She has a BA in Communications and Media with experience in marketing, advertising, and product placement theory. Kate works full time as a technical publisher for a technology company and enjoys freelance work as a way to stay creative.
Trivia:
So Slight Design’s name comes from a lyric in one of Kate’s favorite songs, “Spit on a Stranger” by Kate’s favorite band, Pavement.
Some of Kate’s inspirations and favorite artists are Frank Lloyd Wright, Andy Warhol, J.W. Waterhouse, and Charley Harper.
Kate has a love for monkeys, books, Ralph Fiennes movies, tea, baking, running, Adobe software on a MacBookPro, Wacom tablets, and her cats.
Kate attended Huntingdon College for her degree, Sessions School of Design for her digital arts certificate, and is a member of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals.
